While everything you need for a day of family-friendly activities is just around the corner, if you’re looking to make a day trip this October, don’t forget about all of the other festivities across Long Island! The Montauk Fall Festival is running this weekend (10/8-9), the Mill Neck Manor Apple Festival is on the 9th and 10th, and the Oyster Festival is next weekend (10/15-16) in Oyster Bay! There’s even a Pumpkin Fest in Islandia on the 22nd and Halloween Fest and Parade as well as Tractor Show in Riverhead on the 22nd and 23rd, later this month.
